What Happens When You Duplicate a Custom Catalog?
Duplicating a custom catalog creates an exact copy of the catalog along with all its assigned sections.
From the Catalogs page, click Duplicate next to a custom catalog entry.
The system automatically creates:
A copy of the catalog (title, subtitle, contact info, promotion, internal key, logo).
A copy of every section assigned to that catalog.
π This means the duplicated catalog has its own versions of the assigned sections, which you can edit independently of the original catalog.
How the Duplicate is Displayed
In the dashboard and sections list, the duplicated catalog is labeled with β(Duplicated)β in the title.
This label is for reference only and does not appear in the exported PDF.
You can edit or remove the β(Duplicated)β text in the catalog title at any time.
Result
You now have a fully editable duplicate catalog, complete with its own copy of sections. Updates made to the duplicated catalog or its sections will not affect the original catalog.
