Whole Store Catalog Sync

Automated Sync with Shopify Product & Collection Updates

The Whole Store Catalog is automatically kept up to date with your Shopify store. When active products or collections change, the PDF updates to reflect the most current data.

Active Products Sync

  • The Whole Store Catalog includes all active products assigned to published collections.

  • When products are edited, added, or removed, the catalog updates automatically.

Examples:

  • Edit product title/price/image/variant → Updated in catalog.

  • Delete, archive, or set product to draft → Removed from catalog.

  • Add new product to an existing collection → Added to catalog.

Populated Collections Sync

  • When collections with active products are added, updated, or removed, the catalog updates automatically.

Examples:

  • Edit collection name or rules → Updated in catalog.

  • Delete a collection, unassign it, or remove all products → Removed from catalog.

  • Create new collection with active products → Added to catalog.

Sections Automated Sync

Automated Sync with Shopify Product Updates

All sections — whether based on Collections or Products — automatically sync with your Shopify store products. This means that product updates, additions, or removals in Shopify are reflected in your sections without manual updates.

Because sections are reusable, any edits made to a section also update products in every catalog where the section is assigned.

Sync with Shopify

  • Product edits (title, price, image, or variant) → Reflected in the section.

  • Product deleted → Removed from the Section accordingly.

Manual Section Management

In addition to automatic sync, you can also:

  • Add products manually to a section.

  • Remove products from a section.

  • Rearrange products within a section (drag-and-drop or numerical ordering).

👉 These updates apply to the section itself and cascade to all catalogs using the section.

Key Notes

  • Sections stay in sync with Shopify, keeping your catalog products accurate.

  • You can manually curate sections at any time by adding, removing, or rearranging products.

  • Shared updates: If a section is used in multiple catalogs, all of them automatically reflect the changes.

Custom Catalog Sync

Automated Sync with Sections/Shopify Product Updates

Custom catalogs automatically stay synced with product updates in their assigned sections.

If a product is updated in Shopify (title, price, image, SKU, or variant), the changes flow into the section and then into any custom catalog using that section.

Sync Behavior

  • Product Edits (title, price, image, SKU, variant) → Updated in the catalog.

  • Product Deletion → Removed from the catalog.

  • Product State Change (draft, archived) → Product remains, flagged accordingly.

👉 Result: Custom catalogs always reflect the latest product information from Shopify.
